Kate Moss is Boss
In this new series, witz.org will be featuring special guest writers sounding off on topics that matter to them.
In our first, our special guest blogger mrs. witz.org shares her feelings about the recent Kate Moss scandal…
Kate Moss is Boss
I want to say to every blogger who is happy that Kate’s dirty little white secret is out, (and continually blogging about it - you know who you are) you are a big, fat loser. I also want to tell the Mirror (a paper that I love, and read online daily, mostly b/c you print all the news unlike the Sun) SHAME ON YOU!!! We all know that Kate is a tragic beauty who occasionally makes poor decisions (heroin addict boyfriend, breaking up with Johnny Depp, breaking up with Daniel Craig, partying a bit too hard) but people shouldnt revel in it. She’s just a misguided girl, who grew up drinking champagne and doing Class A for breakfast, on and off the runway.
It’s sad what tabloid journalism has become. I think that Kate has done a pretty good job of keeping her private life private. You never see photos of her daughter, or her family, yet when it comes to something “scandalous” how its easily exploited- can’t someone go exploit someone who doesn’t matter? Like Lindsay Lohan? What about Mick Jones? Has it become a double standard just because he is a man, and an iconic rocker? I am a little bit more shocked that Mick Jones was doing a bump than Kate, I mean this is fashion dahling.
To be honest, it is not my business if Kate indulges in the white lady, but I am sad that she has lost her H&M contract (I for one will NOT be buying any Stella McCartney for H&M, and if you love Kate, you won’t either) but Kate could still sell me car paint and I don’t own a car or know how to drive. Her iconic beauty and style has influenced almost every part of pop culture - look at “Young Hollywood”, those girls are not “stealing their style” from celeb stylist Rachel Zoe, they are clearly ripping off Kate - every Lindsay, Nicole, Kirsten and Sienna one of them!
What I just want to say, is that this is obviously not a surprise, but don’t take joy in it. Don’t support those papers by combing them for every last bit of info so that you can gossip at the water cooler. Take a minute to just realize that if this could happen to her, this could happen to you. In the iconic words of Henry Rollins, trust no one - but you should still say a little prayer for the Kate.

Don’t buy my H&M stuff then!
