For those who love everything Paul Weller…a special three-night stand at New York City’s Irving Plaza in January will undoubtedly be a must-see event.
Here’s how the event, presented by SPIN and Adidas Originals, breaks down: On Jan. 29, Weller will pay special attention to the songs of the Jam, then the next night he’ll turn the spotlight on music from the Style Council. On the Jan. 31, Weller will conclude with a career-spanning set.
Starting this Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 10 A.M., log onto ticketmaster.com and use the presale code “HitParade” to get your hands on up to eight of the 300 advance tickets being made available for each of the three nights.General tickets go onsale Friday, Nov. 17 at noon EST.

Arctic Monkey too cheap to buy overpriced beer
According to the not very reliable UK tabloid The Daily Mirror, seems Arctic Monkeys Jamie Cook didn’t want to pay 22 pounds (about $40) for two beers at a recent after-party at London’s hateful Met Bar – so he got the boot out the back door of the joint, Liam Gallagher style.
After clearing up the misunderstanding, Cook was let back in and, according to the Mirror, they nearly had to boot him out AGAIN after he was spotted trying to dismantle part of the bar.
witz.org likes the Arctic Monkeys as much as the next guy, but could it be they have jumped into rock n’ roll douchebaggery this quickly?
